Registering for a baby is like - WOW! For the most part I have a pretty good idea on what we need. I mean, I know all the bath time essentials, diapers, onesies,etc. I ran in to a bit of a debacle when trying to decide on the car seat/stroller situation.
We are very lucky to have friends that are loaning us some stuff while they're on baby making hiatus. This is wonderful because it is a big relief on the wallet, plus, it saves me from having to make too many decisions. We are also blessed because we have SO MANY friends who have recently had babies that can tell us what items they liked vs. didn't like. Our house is small so we don't want to over load it with a bunch of baby crap that we can't use.
I must say -- I'm most excited about putting the nursery together but I know that is quite low on Eric's priority list. Knowing that our crib is going to sit in the box untouched for 2 or 3 months is killing me inside. KILLING ME.

Selecting a baby monitor sucks too!!!
For that I just went with what Milton and Jen have. I know it will work up stairs...I just hope it works when the basement is done and we're down there more..... maybe I should pick a better one....what did you pick?
