I have this sharp pain in my lower/lowest back. It's where my butt meets my back. It feels like a pinched nerve deep within my butt cheek. http://www.babycenter.com/ had a description of a common back pain that seems to hit the nail on the head. Not only that but my back twinge started when I was carrying loads of laundry up and down the stairs last night.
Here is an excerpt from the article I found:
Even more pregnant women have posterior pelvic pain, which is felt lower on your body than lumbar pain. You may feel it deep inside the buttocks, on one or both sides or in the back of your thighs. It may be triggered by activities such as walking, climbing stairs, getting in and out of a tub or a low chair, rolling over in bed, or twisting and lifting.
It's not a big deal. I will talk to the doctor tomorrow if it's not gone by then. In the mean time I'm just taking things slow.
